TwentyTwenty
Love4Life is now the primary programme delivered by
TwentyTwenty.
Love4Life began in 2008 in response to a growing concern for the well-being and self-esteem of girls from an estate in Loughborough. Since then our service has grown to work across more areas of deprivation in Loughborough, Leicester and Derby, supporting around 600 teenage girls every year.
We specialise in delivering lunch clubs, girls groups and 121’s in secondary schools and in the community. Relationship and Sex Education is a key theme of our work, everything we do is about building positive self-esteem and resilience. Our belief is that when young people feel good about themselves they will make positive choices in their health, relationships and education.
Through the COVID 19 pandemic we have engaged young people and local schools with our
Love4Life Care Packages. These free resources are designed to support young people in areas specifically related to the impacts of lockdown such as increased isolation and anxiety. We recognise that our young people may need extra support both emotionally and psychologically when returning to the school environment so our team are preparing
Love4Life sessions to address this. To find out more about how we can work with you please
